In 2011, I left an 8-year online journalism career where I played videogame critic, movie podcaster, energy-drink reviewer, social-media expert and party-photo cropper at several major daily newspapers. Why? I decided to stay home and take care of our newborn son while supporting my wife's ever-so-slightly more lucrative law career. Two years later, I doubled my workplace productivity when we had a baby girl. Now I have a hard-hitting dad blog and a fast-growing YouTube channel. I get to play with Batman toys and draw stuff and write whatever I want. Mostly I whip up kid food and do a lot of dishes. In addition to blogging and full-time parenting, I'm a freelance writer, journalism teacher and t-shirt designer. It counts. They've all sent me checks.Specialties: Writing, editing, blogging, Twitter, Facebook, packaging content for online, reporting, interviewing, photography, video, podcasting, Photoshop, email marketing, medium to heavy lifting, dadsplaining.
