In 2006, he started at an international accounting firm in the Forensic, Risk & Compliance practice in Hamburg and joined EY in 2012. In 2019, he joined the Hamburg office as a Partner in the Forensic & Integrity Services practice. Since 2021, he has led the Forensics Services practice, which includes Investigations, Disputes & Conflict Resolution and Crisis Management & Emergency Response.Tim Ahrens studied business administration in Kiel and Las Palmas. He regularly publishes thought leadership on the topics of internal investigations and whistleblowing systems and is head of the working group "Internal Investigations & Whistleblowing Systems" at the German Institute for Compliance e.
