Appointed to reinforce senior consulting capability of BT’s system integration arm across multiple industry sectors. Developed business cases for IT projects, including the case for a major CRM implementation for a large local authority. Acted as lead consultant in assignment to implement the transformation of BT’s Finance Function.♦ Delivered highly-rated Business Transformation response as part of company’s overall ASPIRE bid to manage Inland Revenue’s IT function; headed team to scope company’s role in enhancing HMRC’s future strategy.

Headhunted into ADL as Senior Manager and elected to the Partner Group as a Principal in 2000. Primary role covered the management of strategic change, process and organisation for global oil firms; also required to meet specific sales targets as member of key account teams. Recruited staff for European Energy practice. ♦ Upgraded leading national oil company’s visibility and accountability; worked with consultant team and clients to devise extensive reorganisation plans; subsequently restructured the business into a set of discrete, manageable assets to improve financial governance. ♦ Developed long-term restructuring plans for a Middle East Joint Venture to increase production and reduce staff.♦ Safeguarded viability of a business unit in a top oil company with a wide-ranging transformation exercise; cut operational costs by 25% and reduced headcount by 33%.
