High-profile position supporting new product development of Hoover and Dirt Devil vacuums in SE Asia and North America. Established designs with 10 suppliers in SE Asia and 2 in North America. Utilized expertise and sound judgement in meeting project deadlines. Defined transit cost data and provided analysis to Product Management and Finance Teams.- Designed, tested and implemented new corrugated and molded pulp parts to replace expanded styrene, resulting in a $976,432.00 annual material savings. This change eliminated 365 tons of expanded polystyrene from North American landfills  - Directed an $800,000.00 expansion of a molded pulp supplier in Juarez, Mexico as part of the EPS foam reduction.Facilitated cost reduction programs in both Southwest and SE Asia facilities: (2008-2011)- Coordinated a Value Improvement Audit which documented $1,900,000.00 in cost savings in TTI’s mold and assembly facilities in El Paso, Texas and Juarez, Mexico. - Negotiated and documented annual savings of $1,200,000.00 by utilizing Rail vs. Road transit for just 40% of Southwest shipments to Ohio.- Managed implementation of a re-designed of a SE Asia package which resulted in $147,800.00 in materials and transit savings.
