A passionate driven coach and mentor, delivering effective training plans to help and develop athletes to achieve their goals. Since starting my coaching journey I’ve become more immersive into understanding the different ways of getting the best out of athletes, So no more competing for me, I’m still enjoying the training but now concentrating on the coaching. Sharing knowledge, helping and supporting athletes achieve the best they can be. I’m also a Mentor for British Triathlon coaches.Having previously spent a number of years in the fast paced world of Food Retail in various roles and responsibilities including project management. I understand the demands of a busy lifestyle and a demanding job. I therefore believe in having a flexible approach to working with athletes in order to be able to respond to their individual needs and responsiveness to different approaches to training. I'm organised, forward thinking, continually developing through CPD modules.I’ve attended many different training camps across Europe and learnt from some top coaches of best practise, around what is good and not so good. Every coach offers something different and the essence of working with a coach is building a relationship. To ensure an athlete achieves and develops, their continued progression is built upon a successful, ever evolving coach athlete relationship. I firmly believe in not viewing training in isolation but rather implement an holistic focus where the program is planned in the context of a healthy body and a fulfilling life. This will lead to increased performances and a more enjoyable triathlon experience.Personal: 
I probably started out as a runner competing in half marathons (PB: 1:17) and marathons (PB 2:56) before finding the love of cycling and enjoying touring through the Alps, Pyrenees, Dolomites, Catalonia. I also enjoyed riding in Boulder, Colorado while attending Endurance Coaching Summit (ECS) 2019.Once I found triathlons I never once thought I would complete an Ironman, but as the confidence, fitness and experience grew I entered my first IM (PB: 12:10) 5 years after doing an Olympic distance (PB : 2:20). 70.3’s (PB: 5:05) became the distance I enjoyed most, especially if you included them in a city break, a great way of seeing some exciting places and compete in a race at the same time, now that’s a win-win!"Talent alone should not determine how far you take your triathlon journey, passion, enthusiasm and lifestyle should".“It never gets easier, you just get faster “ - Greg Lemond
