My key responsibilities include developing and leading the Member Education Department for the PGA (GB&I), creating opportunities for the 8,000 members to develop their personal and professional lives. I manage a team of administrators to ensure effective operation across the department and I help to market resources through various mediums. I also manage the ASQ Level 5 Golf Club Management Qualifications and the PGA’s Director of Golf programme, within which I manage a team of assessors and tutors. I also regularly source research-based e-learning materials specifically for PGA members.

In this role, I developed and lead 9 x golf coaching modules across the FdSc Professional Golf Studies and BSc Applied Golf Management Studies programmes. I delivered engaging lectures in the lecture room and on the golf course and designed practical and theoretical assessments. I managed a team of expert golf coaching tutors and markers who were also responsible for delivering sessions and marking assessments.

I was responsible for the daily management of the golf store and was the lead golf coach and custom fitter. I oversaw purchasing, merchandising and stock control with strategic emphasis on proactive and reactive sales, both instore and online. In addition, I successfully managed and maintained the business website, assisted with the House of Fraser Online Concessionary for golf, and assisted preparations for the London Golf Show.

In this role, I was responsible for the implementation of golf coaching programmes for children aged between seven and thirteen, at the large international school. I also coached adults and staff members demonstrating excellent communication and people skills.

In addition to coaching golf to individuals of all ages and abilities, I provided excellent customer service to members and guests to ensure an experience of the highest standard. Other responsibilities included assisting with the day-to-day running of the shop and managing internet sales through the business website, with a dual focus on proactive and reactive sales. I also provided professional support to the partner organisation The Internet Golf Store when necessary.

As Professional Golf Coach, I was responsible not only for coaching members of a wide range of ages and proficiencies, but also for managing the professional shop, coordinating club diaries and bookings, and controlling stock for an established club, requiring exceptional planning and organizational skills.

In this role, I took on responsibilities including assisting with general operations of the golf facilities and coaching as well as marketing and events within a five-star hotel and golf country club. I actively developed connections and contacts in the golf community in the Baltic countries, while working to increase awareness of the golf club and resort through television interviews and the development of promotional films.
