Handles trade disputes regarding Equities, Options, and Mutual Funds. Investigate broker errors, rejected orders, make price corrections, bust trades, move trades, etc. Additionally, this role takes escalations from registered representatives regularly to negotiate corrections or explain TD Ameritrade's stance on a verbal dispute.

Although I still assist client's with a wide array of questions, my responsibilities are more focused towards assisting clients with more complex trading questions on the trade desk. These include resolving trade rejections, account restrictions, complex option orders, and margin calls. I also demonstrate to clients how to use TD Ameritrade's trading platform ThinkOrSwim to create scans, research fundamentals, and use technical chart analysis.

During the first two months or so in this position, I received my Series 7 and Series 63 licenses and became broker trained. At the end of this licensing and training process, I had the honor of being voted Class Spokesperson by my peers. I spent half of my time in this role working the overnight shift. During this time I responded to phone calls and electronic message inquires about everything from trades, corporate actions, account opening, margin, and more. I covered a wide variety of topics at this time due to no support teams to lean on being present overnight. This shift was later eliminated by TD Ameritrade at my location and I joined the day shift in January.

Time was focused on learning about the TD Ameritrades retail operations and acquiring general knowledge regarding the stock market. During this internship, I collaborated with a flex-manager problem-solving team in the standardization of a tier three problem across all of Invest Services (IS), shadowed over 10 different departments in IS, presented a change in standard work to huddles across all of IS, and presented a solution in Omaha and cross-site regarding inconsistent call notes to team managers and directors.

At Charlies on the Lake, I proved myself a consistent, dependable, and honest employee with strong customer service skills and a commitment to self-improvement. I consistently trained new employees and reported on their progress. I also skillfully built and maintained rapport with various returning customers.

Kitaki may have contributed most to the development of relevant business skills. These skills include leadership, communication, supervision, creative problem solving, activity planning, public speaking, conflict resolution, and team building.

In May 2015, I moved back to Omaha, NE from Des Moines, IA.

Culver’s contributed the second most to the development and skills. I learned how to manage and handle management privileges, train new employees, develop an improved training system, develop programs to motivate employees to complete specific tasks. Additional skills that Culver’s contributed to are maintaining/improving customer relations, problem solving, and leadership.
