To do that, I draw on my skills and experiences.Being a former Partner in a national firm of Chartered Accountants, I’m used to providing advice, but that experience gave me the twin perspectives of advising AND implementing. Advising: 30 years at a senior level advising professional practices, charities and private companies across diverse sectors on strategic and operational issues.Implementing: Managing Partner (10 years), implementing a strategic plan involving organic growth and merger, whilst overseeing routine activities.I understand the challenges of running a business and balancing the needs of developing the organisation whilst managing it on a day-to-day basis.Now, I provide support and guidance to businesses who have reached the stage where they recognise the value of having some outside help to move their businesses forward and, not forgetting my roots, I encourage them to keep a sharp eye on profitability and cash flow.My clients tell me they value my enthusiasm, personal service and impartiality, whilst working alongside them in a collaborative way and taking the time to understand their aspirations and priorities.
