Selected by senior leadership to lead a Special Missions Detachment tasked with the conduct of satellite communications during worldwide contingency operations; managed and maintained 100% accountability for 6 Soldiers and $10M worth of equipment during five operational deployments in support of the Global War on Terror. Developed a satellite communications certification and evaluations manual that was adopted throughout the Unit as the new standard for all sections. Implemented operational security measures for a classified information special access program; supervised a team of 3 Soldiers in the conduct of security operations that protected over 100 pieces of top secret material. Performed collateral duties of Training Management Supervisor; planned, developed, and implemented a rigorous training plan for 45 Soldiers on the use of experimental tactical equipment.

Supervised, maintained 100% accountability for, and ensured the ongoing health and welfare of 18 Soldiers, while managing and maintaining 100% accountability for equipment valued at over $20M. Recruited and selected all personnel assigned to the Detachment; conducted interviews with hundreds of potential candidates for selection to the organization. Mentored 3 Soldiers to compete for and win Organizational Soldier of the Year honors; 1 Soldier went on to finish second at the Department of the Army level competition. Created air load plans for and oversaw the execution of 22 deployments of equipment valued at over $20M, with zero loss of equipment or personnel while assigned as the Unit Movement Officer. Coordinated all logistics and planned and executed maintenance schedules for all Detachment vehicles and equipment, resulting in 100% availability of all equipment for all deployments with all assigned objectives executed on or ahead of schedule. Liaised with international agencies in order to facilitate the accomplishment of unit goals and objectives; aided in shaping policy between the United States and various host nations

Supervised 40 Soldiers in daily operations and maintenance of a $38 million Wideband SATCOM Operations Center that provides reliable high quality communications for the United States Government and allied nations; ensured unit's compliance and adherence with higher headquarters, host installation, Major Commands, Department of the Army, Department of Defense, and Defense Information Systems Agency directives.

Responsible for the training program of a strategic Wideband Satellite Operations Center; assisted the Commander in developing long, near and short range training plans. Developed and published the unit’s weekly training schedule. Inspected documents for accuracy and maintained unit training files for 52 Soldiers. Responsible for resourcing equipment required for all scheduled training events. Developed, planned and executed weapons qualification ranges and unit field training exercises. Ensured compliance with all Department of Defense, Department of the Army, Major Commands and Defense Information Systems Agency training directives and guidance. Processed administrative and personnel actions for the 52 soldiers assigned to the unit.

Trained subordinates in the day-to-day operations and responsibilities of a 24-hour Wideband Satellite Operations Center valued at $22 million. Responsible for the health, welfare and development of 3 soldiers. Coordinated missions involving government support agencies and Armed Forces tactical and strategic users. Implemented all directives and procedures governing the operation and maintenance of satellite communications networks in the Western Pacific and Indian Ocean satellite regions. Coordinated, controlled, and supported upwards of 50 ground mobile forces and naval ship missions simultaneously, while maintaining a 98% services reliability rate for all communications. Managed security measures and maintained 100% accountability for 30 top secret level items; trained and led 4 subordinates to ensure compliance with all doctrine and regulations with zero loss or compromise.

Supervised 8 Soldiers in daily operations and maintenance of a $5 million Common Ground Station that provides reliable high quality fully mobile targeting, battlefield management and surveillance system for the United States Government and allied nations. Provided support to Army field commanders by simultaneously receiving, processing, displaying, manipulating, storing, retrieving, and disseminating information to intelligence, fire support and command and control elements from Brigade to Echelons Above Corps (EAC). Conducted both written and oral briefs with senior military commanders as a junior soldier, known as being a subject matter expert while acting as a shift supervisor.

Conducted debriefings and interrogations of human intelligence sources in English and foreign languages, and screened human intelligence data, sources, and documents. Led a team of 5 soldiers tasked with gathering intelligence through interpersonal contacts. Led and conducted over 150 intelligence collection missions during an 8 month period, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, resulting in the capture of 5 of Iraq’s most wanted combatants. Traveled to hazardous areas in small elements to gather intelligence for Special Operations Forces throughout Iraq
