Open Positions: In our "logistics/transportation" section we (along with others) are experiencing a severe shortage of "diesel mechanics/technicians. Seems to be diminishing interest in doing hands on work which keeps those trucks moving. These are an integrated family of businesses designed to provide a full range of valuable services ranging from workforce analysis, strategic job analysis, sourcing, structured behavioral interviewing, testing/assessment, hiring decision support, due diligence/backgrounding, legal compliance, orientation/integration, performance evaluation, validation studies, research and analysis in the employment and staffing industry. Major projects at the present time are: (1) reinventing our traditional "job analysis" into a process which more accurately addresses the ever evolving and changing structure of "work" and the concept of small groups and teams in work. (2) recreating our "sourcing" process to address the need for better fitting people into the pipeline. My own career marked by a series of moves into what I perceived as areas of opportunity.
