At this time, I provide pre-employment and fitness for duty evaluations for local, state, and federal agencies/departments as well as serve as Psychological Consultant with the Socal Security Administration. My background in practice has included specializations in substance abuse and sexual behavior problems and I have conducted forensic assessments involving family, criminal, and civil law matters. With the exception of occasional physician-referred evaluations for purpose of consultation, since 2007 I have solely provided forensic services via court-appointments and being retained by attorneys representing defendants as well as victims/plaintiffs. My experience includes cases in state, federal, administrative, and military courts throughout the U.S. I have twenty years of teaching experience in higher education.I am certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP/ABFP) in forensic practice and have been sub-licensed as a Sex Offender Treatment Provider. I am a Life Member of the American Psychological Association, member of the American Academy of Forensic Psychology, Clinical Member of the Association for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse, and past Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, Other experience:I have professionally served in various capacities with local and state psychological associations as well as an oral examiner for the American Board of Forensic Psychology. I served as a Professor of Clinical Psychology teaching in a doctoral training program for ten years as well as having conducted many professional workshops and presentations over the years. I served as an appointed member of the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists from March 2008 through December 2020.
