About Tim Broom

In 2000, I walked away from a successful career in the transportation industry to pursue my passion. I had always been intrigued by technology, but also a little intimidated. With excitement in my heart and my wife’s blessing, I decided to launch a career in IT. Today, I lead ITProTV, a disrupting eLearning team that delivers timely and engaging video content to train IT professionals at every stage of their careers. ITProTV is built on the idea that training doesn’t have to be outdated, dry, script reading voice-over-desktop drudgery. With a format that’s more like a talk show, learners watch ‘edutainers’ engage with a host and an online audience to create a better-than-classroom experience that they look forward to watching. To help IT learners stay current, we add new content every day. ITProTV provides the flexible experience I was seeking when I was a student of IT. We offer a range of services from affordable memberships for an individual career changer to corporate memberships for CIOs with teams of hundreds/thousands. Study topics or study for a certification. Access virtual labs and practice exams. Watch on a desktop or on the go. I describe myself as a father, husband, CEO and a lifelong learner. I am skilled in Inspirational leadership, negotiation, cultivating effective culture, coaching, and sales. I am a devoted fan of Simon Sinek, with a strong belief in the idea that people don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it. Our “why” is that we believe everyone has greater potential within, given the opportunity to unleash it.
