(VAX) Initially I created and ran functional and performance tests on the CACD's military grade GPS embedded module (GEM) III. As a result I created issues when the tests fell short of the requirements. In my second year I was designing and implemented software (JOVIAL) for real-time multi-threaded applications in embedded military navigation GPS. The SLAM-ER project I mention below was a typical project at Rockwell. A contract governed using process called out in D0-178b is implement the enhancement or creation of the system. I was a member of 6-8 teams during my tenure here. I become very intimate with the workings of military GPS and navigation systems.
