Created an on-line e-commerce company creating new forms of sampling technology plus utilizing big data analytics to create taste genomes. The company was sold to Lot18 (NYC) in 2012 which has continued to operate the TastingRoom “genome” service. Utilizing gas chromatography and mass spectrometers, created a large database of all compounds in thousands of wines and used custom software to do predictive analysis on consumer preference. Within 1.5-years of starting company, grew revenue to $10M annually shipping millions of "sampling kits" produced in a proprietary, patented manufacturing line that I designed and built.

Served as the Vice President of Consumer Software and Entertainment Content integrating premium content and personalization across all of Dell’s consumer product lines. Led the "netbook" line creation plus Dell's first foray into mobile/smartphone devices. Closed deals with large movie studios and music labels to pre-load content on Dell products per consumer orders.Came into Dell through their acquisition of ZING.

Founder and CEO of ZING Systems, a company that developed mobile software and hardware for a range of handheld wireless media devices for such companies as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Yahoo!, and Sandisk. First company to stream various music services like Pandora to mobile devices. Built the engineering (hardware and software), service, business development, marketing, and operations teams from ground zero as well as oversaw the initial platform architecture and design. Was able to achieve multi-million dollar revenue in year 1 and reached being cash flow positive within 2 years from founding.In 2007, ZING was acquired by Dell, Inc. At time of sale, employees owned nearly 80% of company due to strong revenue and margins from an early stage.

Led a 1200-person team consisting mostly of engineering and operations team members spanning silicon, systems, and software. Developed multi-touch technology which enabled all iPhone and iPad products. Transitioned the company from PowerPC to Intel platform which grew the company's business to new heights. Led the development of the Mac mini which was the first low-cost Mac available and which has contributed to billions in company revenue through the years. Was company spokesperson to press.

After coming into Microsoft via the WebTV acquisition, led the development of several DVR products including DISH Network's DISHplayer and UltimateTV for DIRECTV. Also helped to lead the company's first gaming console, Xbox, which has become one of the most important product lines for the company. Worked closely with CEO on gaming strategy for Microsoft.

Part of the founding team to bring the Internet to the masses via the television. Worked on initial software and hardware plus ran the licensing team. Grew a large development team from the ground up launching millions of set top boxes with multiple companies such as Sony, Philips, Samsung, and RCA.Company was acquired by Microsoft in 1998.

Developed world's first optical gaming console. Led system design and silicon design. Supported IPO which took place in 1994.

Worked on first desktop NeXT computer. Eventually oversaw all engineering efforts on what was called the "68K" product line which accounted for 100% of the company's revenue. Worked closely with operations and manufacturing creating customized robotics to automate the building of all NeXT computers.
