I have wide ranging experience across all aspects of project and programme management including 15 years working within the financial software industry. I have run single larger projects as well as a number of smaller projects across many teams and have managed teams of up to 100 staff, including contract and offshore development teams, across a number of sites. I have set up the Project Management governance and acted as mentor to a number of staff who were new to project management.I have managed teams across the full project lifecycle from design, development and software testing with associated project support teams through to support and maintenance utilising both hierarchical and matrix management structures. I have been responsible for transitioning teams from a long standing hierarchical structure to a more responsive matrix management structure.
