This project over time scaled to meet all land acquisition and land development activities which was later migrated to Dynamics 365, complete with data migration. This project allowed for the first time, rich Power BI tracking of all land projects around the world with major milestone KPIs created and visually represented.Tagging closely behind land acquisition project tracking was the requirement to also track energy delivery to all land and lease locations around the world. By utilizing the same ADO project for land tracking, built a parent - child work item structure to align multiple energy contracts to a single land parcel. This again, provided for the first time, rich intelligence utilized by the energy delivery teams and reduced manual effort across multiple segments.Confidential project management requires additional tools and non-disclosure agreements for employees and contractors to view and sign electronically. Built automated processes that automatically added newly on-boarded resources to our confidential project after successfully signing all required documents. Removing manual human interaction, the risk for human error was eliminated and timestamps were now provided for future audits.These and other programs are now under my oversight and leadership with multiple resources and managers with their own teams to support and drive future enhancements.

For Microsoft, Corp.Sourced to build a custom Power BI application for external customers of Microsoft, Corp., that required background investigation and HBI tented project. Once launched, transitioned to the Azure organization, building from scratch executive Power BI solutions that are viewed at the exec VP level..Accomplishments• From Azure DevOps as a data source, built a custom burndown solution that required custom start/stop dates within the same project. Utilized Azure SQL Database to house historical burndown data while the most current 30 days came from the DevOps Analytics query. All sprints and phases of the project auto-rolled with a custom date table and multiple relationships to other data sources. Customer can view historical burndown data through the project, by each phase and sprint.• Brought in to development project where stored procedure was failing after previous resource had left role. Upon debugging, found a primary key duplication which was causing the 7-step procedure to fail. Rewrote new solution to include additional field for the primary clustered key which resolved the issue for the customer.• With no data available, worked with principal operations excellence lead on data collection and table creation with multiple attributes to be used for visualizations. Created Power BI reports, active directory security groups to publish in a single app workspace with user segregation. Executives now have reports that include financial tracking with % run total views, map views with custom tooltip tables and all auto-refresh enabled.

Brought-in primarily for Power BI development, was quickly utilized for other skillsets including SSAS Tabular with live connection build and integration, SQL Server orchestration with table / view creation and PowerShell for datamining Power BI tenant data provided by Microsoft.Accomplishments:Customer had no BI presence to measure daily KPIs derived from Oracle-based application. Designed and built SQL Server 2016 Analysis Services (on-premise) tabular model with data model processing orchestration hooked in to SQL Server where Oracle data was landing via SSIS. Assisted customer with UPN integration within Power BI as the customer did not have UPN setup within Active Directory. This proof-of-concept concluded with a model in-place that the customer understood and could take to the next level per project deliverables and requirements.Tasked to reverse engineer a customer’s Power BI data model from excel spreadsheets to an Azure SQL Database and Azure Analysis Services solution, back in to a new Power BI template that was an exact replica of the original file. Customer went from a manual update and republish process, to a completely automated BI solution where data pipelines were created to ingest in to Azure SQL Database and thus a data model that auto-refreshed so that the end user always had the most up-to-date data.Wrote custom PowerShell to mine a mixture of Power BI, Workspace, User and Licensing and inserted in to SQL Server to build dimension tables that represent the customer’s tenant. Listings of all workspaces, users with access to workspaces and access level, datasets, reports and file imports utilized for a one-stop shop audit and compliance solution with customer’s own retention policies and utilizing O365 audit logging to monitor user activity within the tenant.

Chosen to architect a BI solution within XBOX Security, built an automated solution with only Microsoft products and within a challenging, secure environment that is not part of the corporate domain. With no data platform in existence to support security operations and multiple teams using multiple data-capturing tools, built an automated dashboard solution utilizing SQL languages that are used today for executive reviews along with scorecards and required analysis.Accomplishments:Security Incident Management was running tool from a desktop server with no reporting capabilities. Led a migration to a tented collaboration environment housed in an MS datacenter for reliability and scalability. Built from ground zero an automated dashboard with slicing capabilities, SSRS with subscriptions (and on-demand live data) all while providing data security to select audiences. This has now been onboarded to an Azure SQL warehouse with a Power BI automated platform and solution.Executive leadership requested a one year forecast of crypto-web volume and the amount of new server hardware that would be required. Utilizing predictive analytics based upon historical volume and predicted new feature attributes; provided 4 models with a recommended model that required no new funding. This was implemented successfully with a cost avoidance over $1M.Security Operations Monitoring team was spending cycles on chasing admin account checkouts via ERPM when the results always ended in being noise. Analyzed data from ArcSight monitoring to determine patterns of when accounts across (8) domains were being checked out. Statistical analysis delivered recommendations on detection creation based upon probability of time of day and the number of checkouts which reduced team churn and improved detection quality, and has been a standard onboarding model baseline for other new solutions.

Built and maintained a methodology that would rely on quality-driven principles with identified primary areas of focus towards the customer.Accomplishments:Windows Azure (Microsoft’s Platform as a Service solution) required integration with the current commercial support processes for customers to allow for both paid technical support and non-paid administrative support. Worked directly with engineering teams across multiple organizations driving process flows supporting business requirements to ensure a seamless customer experience once released. The end result was a live purchase authentication process that is customer-focused globally in nine languages with continuous improvements and new service releases being launched on a monthly basis.Forecasting support volume month-over-month was not accurate and at best, a ‘lucky guess’. Over time, mathematically engineered a predictive model based upon subscription growth with existing support volume, identifying very strong relationships by way of regression testing. Today, there is an equation to be used that will assist in financial and operational readiness and based upon statistical methods using financial forecasts as the predictor.Overall satisfaction with Azure Support customers was not easily obtainable without any known drivers. Analyzing existing Voice of the Customer data displayed a strong correlation between engineer satisfaction with the customer and the overall satisfaction of the customer. Built a mathematical simulation model that drove a change in metrics and measurements focusing on the inputs of commercial support that now readily predict overall customer satisfaction with leading indicators that can successfully be mitigated during the customer experience.
