His expertise is truly full-stack, reflecting a lifelong passion for software development that began at the age of four when he started programming on a Big Trak robot.Having been the inaugural employee at a machine vision startup, Tim garnered invaluable insights into product development and market dynamics early in his career. His impactful contributions included the creation of bespoke, innovative software solutions that automated machines and processes across many industries.During his tenure at ANCA Motion, Tim has continued to champion innovation, pioneering the low-code/no-code movement with the greenfield development of a popular industrial HMI builder. He also spearheads modernization efforts of well-established and complex motion control software and manages the development of high-availability cloud software. Furthermore, he plays a pivotal role in growing and leading teams of developers, embracing Agile principles to accelerate the delivery of quality solutions.In his leisure time, Tim indulges his passion for software archaeology and preservation. A noteworthy project involves the meticulous reverse engineering of a DOS computer game (BioForge) from 1995, where he is recreating the entire engine from scratch to run seamlessly on modern platforms.
