The Minutemen Equity Fund is a long-only, value fund that is comprised of a selective team of 20 students that work to beat the S&P 500. In 2007, MEF started with $25,000 and now it has grown to over $250,000 thanks to the due diligence, passion, and hard work of the students selected to be in this fund. MEF allows its members to further their financial skills and education within the realm of finance by teaching its members how to conduct equity research and create financial models. As a Senior Analyst in the Industrials Sector, I am paired with a Junior Analyst who I am tasked with mentoring and assisting in their growth of qualitative and quantitative skills. As a mentor, I help him with anything and everything, from how to compose himself to how to conduct analysis. As teammates, we work together to monitor the sector's holdings, research potential companies to invest in, construct discounted cash flow models on these companies, and then pitch our findings to the Fund. In addition to the Fund's exceptional investment experience, the upperclassmen and alumni put emphasis on professional development and are committed to providing members the assistance necessary to land and succeed in myriad different career opportunities within finance.

By working at Dunes Park, I had a very versatile position. I had the responsibilities of providing great customer service in addition to parking cars in a timely manner and accounting for the money and tickets sold to ensure there were no monetary errors. This experience gave me further insight into customer service and has enhanced my ability to compose myself with customers.

At Tri-County Memorials, I was tasked with completing manual labor tasks in an efficient manner. This was done using large machinery, so the tasks that had to be completed required everyone's utmost attention as there were plenty of chances to get seriously hurt. By working here, I improved upon my time management and teamwork skills, as I was responsible for making sure things were done in a timely manner, as well as all of us having to work together to get certain jobs done without getting hurt.
