CurrentI represent entities and individuals regarding complex litigation matters arising from breach of contract, shareholder derivative disputes, trade secrets, partnerships, unfair trade practices, interference with contractual relations, fraud, the Uniform Commercial Code, employment agreements, wage and hour issues, wrongful termination, FMLA, discrimination, duty of loyalty, fraud and privacy matters.I also advise clients with regards to corporate matters such as entity formation, contracts, licensing agreements, distributorship agreements, franchise agreements, trade secrets, asset/stock purchases and sales, buyouts, commercial leases, corporate maintenance, employment agreements, trademarks, fiduciary duties of officers and directors, conflict of interests and a wide breadth of other corporate management issues.I have first-chaired over forty (40) trials and arbitrations and over twelve (12) appeals. I have also handled numerous mediations before administrative bodies. The trials, arbitrations, and appeals have involved derivative claims, breach of fiduciary duties, commercial contracts, unfair business practices, insurance coverage, fraud, employment, construction, and real estate matters. In doing so, I have tried cases in four (4) states: Massachusetts, California, Connecticut and Maryland, as well as overseeing litigation for national/international clients in nine (9) other states: Florida, Ohio, New Hampshire, New York, Louisiana, Tennessee, Arizona, Vermont, and Virginia.
