Change has been my only constant in a career spanning more than 30 years.Having worked in many roles in many companies and adapted to multiple situations, technologies, tools and methods, I have become multi-disciplined and have accumulated skills in systems/business analysis, automated functional and application performance testing and R&D/prototyping.Finally, I am becoming more agile.... I've started to work in an "agile" team and apply the thinking and practices of agile software development as the team moves into a micro-services world.I have a BA(Hons) degree in Systems Analysis and have gained the ISEB ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level - Test Manager. Over half of my work has been gained working within the financial services sector with periods working as a Test Consultant and Web Performance Consultant exposing me to different business sectors.I lean towards the technical side of software development and always aim to improve the processes and tools that teams use through innovation and continuous improvement wherever I go. In recent years I have been conducting functional test automation and performance testing, but I aim to apply my broader range of experience of both testing and requirements (systems/business) analysis to my role,I'm gaining a better understanding of some of the "missing links" of agile development a and learning new techniques and approaches; Behaviour Driven Development, example mapping, event storming and event modeling look to be game-changers going forward and I look forward to overcoming the challenges and benefiting from their adoption in the future.
Listed skills include Test Planning, System Testing, Test Management, Testing, and 51 others.
