About Tim Daye

I am a computer professional with 35 years of experience. Most recently, I was a senior application operations engineer at INTUIT. I was responsible for the monitoring, upkeep, troubleshooting and deployment of many back office systems such as sales tax processing, credit card processing and restricted party screening (a system to screen customers to ensure they are not on the government “bad actors” list or living in embargoed country). Due to a reorganization my position, and about 30 or so other, were eliminated.Previously I was involved in the design, build-up, installation, configuration and deployment of CUBIC automated fare collection system, NEXTFARE. Once installed, I was responsible for troubleshooting problems that arose, and performing software and database upgrades.
