Managing Director

Day to day management of flooring contracts on a diverse range of construction projects including luxury residential, public sector, care homes, healthcare, education, commercial developments and student residetial, working within the Contracts Team of AC plc. Managing multiple contracts between 4 to 8 at anyone time, with projects varying in value from £500k to £30million, with main contractors. Daily duties include:- Arranging and attending pre-start meetings to confirm the schedule and delivery requirements.- Quality Control and snagging of floor finishes and prepared areas, including liaising with the Main Contractor, Sub-Contractors and the Architect to amend design flaws, faults and recommend a suitable alternative specification, if required.- Recording and documenting site progress and providing the necessary progress reports to the main contractor.- Problem solving and amending the program to ensure works are completed within the designated time scale.- Health and Safety Management including risk assessments and the issue / creation of method statements. - Inspection of the works that have been carried out and recommend the issuing of handover certificates to the client upon completion.
