I led a Global Technical Organization with resources in Canada, US, Europe and Asia. Technology is based on Nylon 66 Fiber, predominately going into Carpet yarn (Stainmaster@), automotive airbags and specialty industrial fibers. I am a Technology expert in N66 Industrial Fibers, and in particualr AirBag Fibers. I also have led the specialty Technology portfolio for Lycra@ spandex fiber, going into Personal Care enduses, also part of Invista. I also led the Polyester Industrial fiber R&D portfolio until we sold that.My experience is in Technology and enduse applications development and in running Global R&D portfolios. Also have built and started up plants in Canada, US, Germany, UK and China. I have taken on an additional role leading the technology in specific vetnures we have taken on as Part of our New Ventures initiatives for our Performance Surfaces and Materials Business. In this, we are looking for new technologies and business opportunties that we can bring our capabilities to, to create new growth platforms for Invista and even for KOCH Industries.
