Manage the Military Construction (MILCON) and Sustainment, Restoration & Maintenance (SRM) projects from design through construction on Air National Guard Bases throughout several States within the United States.

Managed multiple clients and contracts to include governmental projects and task order contracts. Supervised design effort and construction administration on all site design projects in the office and region and coordinated the efforts for local clients with other market sectors in the company. Built a survey department in the office and staffed it appropriately with a Director of Survey and the required support staff. Trained junior managers and engineers in the proper design practices, at all times stressing quality of work product and service to clients. Prepared proposals and contracts and managed same for the duration of the project

Responsible to ensure the quality of the plans being prepared in the office met the standards set by the company. Specific items of quality are correctness, presentation, and constructability of Engineering plans and Survey plats. Supervision of drafters and junior designers to ensure that their design abilities are progressing and they are afforded opportunities for personal and professional growth within the company. Schedule work for the individual teams so maximum utilization of work force is obtained and projects are completed in accordance with client timelines. Coordination between County, State and Town jurisdictions to enable a timely review and approval of plans. Interaction with Land Developers and Property Owners to keep them apprised of jurisdictional requirements so that the most cost efficient and aesthetic design is obtained.
