Some of my earliest and fondest memories involved building and schoolyard entrepreneurship; fascinated by providing solutions that improve someone’s situation, and reaping the rewards of satisfaction through hard work.I’ve been fortunate to thrive in a context that feeds my passion for construction and entrepreneurship. During my university years in Newcastle, I discovered the rewarding nature of small business, and after validating my approach to providing quality building maintenance services, was well on my way to applying some of the theoretical knowledge I was learning during my studies.Upon graduating with honours, I further applied my learnings in tier 1 construction in Sydney, as a site engineer involved in government, education, and multi-residential projects. My years in this setting imposed an unrelenting exposure to the impact of time, cost and quality in construction.With a desire to develop my business endeavours, I took my theoretical knowledge and practical experience and applied it to my own ventures, and spent several years developing Clarus Projects, an asset maintenance company servicing the Sydney, Central Coast and Hunter regions.This venture developed into more substantial construction projects, and in time, allowed me to team up with a long time colleague to establish the building and property development company, Dande Built. My role now involves a few of my favourite things; residential construction, business administration and operations, and most importantly, leaving an imprint in my industry as a passionate and progressive professional.At Dande Built, the team and I always strive to produce exceptional results, by coupling traditional construction methods with emerging technology.
