About Tim Dröge

Since his move to South Africa in 1999, Tim started as one of the directors at Peppers & Rogers Group, he was responsible for building the CRM strategic consulting services. Mid 2001, Tim worked as a Deputy General Mgr (eBusiness) with Discovery Group responsible for the online Member & Employer Community and Customer Intelligence. He was also involved in enhancing the interactive messaging channel and identified business applications for voice recognition. From 2005, Tim worked as a Principal at MAC Consulting, a local management consultancy focused on mining & resource companies in South Africa. At MAC, he worked on strategic and operational assignments at De Beers (diamonds) and Sasol (Petro-chemical). From 2007, Tim was a Principal at FeverTree Consulting, which is a local spin off from A.T. Kearney and at the time part of Shanduka Grp (chaired by Cyril Ramaphosa). He joined the senior team that led the Turnaround Programme at Dept. of Home Affairs. Furthermore, Tim worked for the new fix line telecom operator and liaised between a SA chemical major and a supply chain team in China.In 2010, Tim started his own consulting firm (Orange Partners & Advisory). He took up interim roles with Anglo American's Grp Shared Services and Eskom (strategic coal supply). Tim also positioned himself in the field of renewable energy (biomass and torrefied pellets) and capital fundraising for real estate projects in Africa.In 2012, Tim re-joined A.T. Kearney Johannesburg in the role of Principal responsible for new business and key project delivery in (South) Africa. His focus was on operations, supply chain and procurement initiatives mostly in FMCG which took him into Kenya, Uganda, Namibia and Nigeria besides other client work in South Africa.
