I have been privileged to spend a career ensuring that our nation can successfully operate in every environment. For more than two decades, I have created and deployed strategies that improved operations and secured cooperation while protecting operations against diverse risks and threats. Most recently, as the U.S. government’s Chief Security Officer in Mexico, I have held oversight of thousands of U.S. government employees and families located in multiple cities throughout Mexico and advanced U.S. government interests by building and nurturing working relationships with foreign law enforcement, senior government officials, and members of civil society to protect people and assets.I envision forward-looking security operations leveraging a global perspective and devotion to the success of the foreign service, where I have been tapped for critical roles and have leaned into my security and operations expertise—transforming global strategy and operations under novel circumstances—mitigating risks domestically and internationally; leading crisis response in more than seven countries while serving as a strategic adviser to high-influence, cross-sector leaders worldwide.Safeguarding U.S. interests goes beyond managing immediate security initiatives, it requires a holistic approach that strengthens diplomatic relations.
