I can very good support to “translate” cultural differences in international businesses.Key highlights:Optimization: I was a part of the project steering committee team with a goal to optimize infusion production in different sites in Asia. During this project I played a bridge role between business, finance and production related stakeholders to ensure a smooth and effective cooperation. Business Initiatives: looking at fast changing environment in China and Asia we run a project to aim new business opportunities in Asia Region, mainly focusing on Chinese market. This included new product launches, geographical expansion, finding new markets and adapt the organization accordingly. As a part of the steering committee, I ensured the communication between several stakeholders, supported to keep the focus and validated financial aspects.

For example, initiatives for bottom line improvement, projects to increase profitability through portfolio management, improve key figures, like SOI/DSO, productivity.Finance Business Partner: both as local and regional CFO I was very deeply involved in several business projects, validated different project calculations and P&L, challenged approaches to reach reliable outcome and with that supported the success. I believe it is an ultimate key for a finance person to have a good business understanding. Training, Education, Mentoring: I organized several finance and project-management related trainings all over the Europe, Middle East and Africa Region. With those I could build a constructive team from finance community of 20+ countries, encouraged to share best practices, openly and transparently discuss even sensitive topics. As outcome I reached a significant quality improvement of financial reports and budgeting process.
