My position for Astaro AG was a Senior Sales Executive / Partner Manager. Astaro AG produce Network Security Solutions designed for the SME sector. The key focus on the solution is around Unified Threat Management and dedicated solutions for Email and Web Security.My main duties as Partner Manager were:• To meet or exceed revenue targets on a quarterly basis. • Direct touch with end users via leads generated through advertising, corporate website, telemarketing and call out campaigns. Qualifying these leads as genuine opportunities, passing them to our channel partners or closing the opportunity directly and then passing them to the channel to fulfill the order.• Liaising on a daily basis with the Astaro Partners in both Reseller and Distribution via phone, email, and regular onsite meetings to discuss sales forecasts, marketing campaigns, end user opportunities and to build stronger relationships.• Reseller / Distribution call out days to generate leads both reseller and end user.• Recruiting new resellers.• Delivering Reseller and Distribution sales training.• Arranging technical training course for partners and end users.• Updating CRM database.• Liaising with the marketing division on email shots, trade paper advertising and trade shows.• Attended trade shows in order to disseminate product information to both end users and resellers. The Astaro solution was sold across all market sectors Education, SME, Corporate / Enterprise, Local Government, NHS and Finance & Insurance.

I looked after the security product portfolio reporting directly to the Managing Director and Sales Director. I built vendor relationships with Fortinet, Tipping Point, Utimaco. I also helped maintain relationships with Checkpoint, Clearswift, and Cisco. During this period I also looked after key accounts.
