As a contractor thru Woodbine Software, I've worked on a number of successful projects, particularly in the Windows App (UWP) space, using .NET and C#, as well as Unity.Some of these roles include:- Develop and architecting the Sherpany application- UI development for StaffPad, a Windows Store app that enables the user to create musical scores by drawing the notes on a tablet using a stylus.- Development of the AirWatch Inbox app for the Windows Store.

Architect and develop Sherpany's native Windows application. Head of the Windows developers team.The Windows application is used by many European based corporate board members and C-Suite executives to create more effective and efficient meetings. The application must be robust, flexible, and always available.As the Windows Chapter Head at Sherpany, I facilitate chapter meetings and direction for the Windows developers. I identify and find solutions to give the users a better experience on Windows, as well as improving the architecture and removing technical debt. This allows new features to be added with ease and ensures the application is maintainable for the future.

Created software running onboard the Air Force's C-130 AIRCRAFT platform (or rather a variant of it) which provides the crew with situational awareness and communications, among other services. Role involved developing the software in a C#/.NET environment as a part of an agile team of software engineers, project engineers, and quality assurance members. The software consisted of a micro-service architecture and had a strong focus on implementing network protocols to communicate with 3rd party devices.

Lead developer and project manager on a multi-user VR-based training application, developed in C# and the Unity engine, in cooperation with Shenandoah University. Implemented features such as multi-user networking with live interactions, voice chat, VR, and motion tracking with the Kinect v2. Managed project team using Kanban.Other projects involved app development for UWP, Android, and Windows Mixed Reality; and web development. Projects sometimes involved virtual and mixed reality, as well as augmented reality. Projects targeted devices such as the HTC Vive, Microsoft HoloLens, and Android phones.

Developed an enterprise productivity application with an emphasis on enterprise security and mobility management for Lextech’s client, which is a leader in the space. The application runs on Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows Mobile and Windows Phone 8, and was developed using the latest Visual Studio, .NET and UWP tools available. The development team consisted of five software engineers using agile project management.

Received 2nd place in the Intel Perceptual Computing Challenge. Created a cutting-edge demo that allows a real-world object to be projection mapped on-the-fly as a user interacts with it. The application uses a depth-sensing camera to track the object as it moved in the real world by the user.Utilized: Depth-sensing cameras, Intel Perceptual Computing SDK, Point Cloud Library, UDP sockets, Google Protocol Buffers, C++, C#

Architected and developed GIS-driven software projects that focused on analyzing risk, particularly in transportation. Projects included risk analysis for terrorist activity in waterways, hazardous material transported by road or rail, as well as analysis for ocean-based oil rig collisions. Most notably, architected and developed a software engine for assessing the risk of hazardous materials being transported by truck across US roadways.
