Currently employed at Holidu as a Java software developer for Holidu Hosts, working not only on developing the product but also improving the deployment automation.Over the last years I worked with different technologies within the cloud space, with a focus on operating Kubernetes environments and their associated tooling. The latter includes working with AWS, Jenkin, GitLab and GitHub CI/CD, Hetzner cloud services and different service meshes. I'm well-versed in operating Kubernetes clusters and the adjacent technologies.In 2020 I initially joined the Jellyfin media server project as user support staff but quickly indulged learning C# and am currently working as a C# software developer on the backend in my free time. Additionally, I am part of the core team and the technical committee responsible for designing and implementing new features.Since my school days I manage my own servers and infrastructure and while studying in Karlsruhe I was responsible for operating, maintaining and supporting the infrastructure and services for 250 residents and the administration of the dorm I lived in.
