Ambitious and driven, I am keen to make a significant contribution to the railway.I am a MBA qualified Chartered Mechanical Engineer working as a Team Lead and Principal Consultant in the Rolling Stock Strategic Services team of AtkinsRéalis’ Rail Consulting business. I am experienced in advising and supporting clients in areas such as new rolling stock procurement and related due diligence on asset valuation. I have previously also been part of bid teams for rail franchises. As well as expertly providing consultancy services in these areas, I am also part of the team's management, actively involved in strategic development of the team's services and resources.Having previously worked in the Asset Management and Maintenance Services team and the Specialist Engineering team, I have extensive experience of the rail industry structure, rail vehicles and associated systems.I am also very active in the IMechE's Railway Division.Although working in Derby, I live in Sheffield.Specialties: technical advice, due diligence, rolling stock procurement, rolling stock valuation, rolling stock maintenance and overhaul strategy, asset management, project management, excellent rail industry knowledge.
