Video Voyager is a location based video application for Google Glass and iOS. When a user posts a video using Glass to Video Voyager it is "pinned"​ to their location. Extensive background planning and engineering large scale video encoding and delivery platforms both in the cloud and in traditional datacenter environments. Primary contributor to the functional coding of the RESTful API layer of Givit as well as the Director Of Engineering, managing front-end and back-end staff resources to create updates to the web, iOS and Android experiences of Givit. Functional programming languages include PHP, Objective-C, Javascript and Java. In depth knowledge and hands on experience configuring and deploying almost all resources that AWS offers including S3, CloudFront, Elastic Transcoder and RDS. Spearheaded and completed early phase proof of concept projects including integrating the Givit social network with Google Glass using Google’s Mirror API’s and authored a native video recorder for Google Glass enabling users to pick the best parts of a video while they are recording and seamlessly transfer those selections to the Givit iOS app for editing.
