My role is to share my experience, ideas and advice.

ReadyPoint (formerly DisastersNet) provides a fully automated emergency management system that is specifically designed to help key elements of the critical infrastructure be better prepared to respond to emergencies when they occur. Based on NIMS (National Incident Management System) the ReadyPoint solution (DIMS – Disaster Incident Management System) provides a scenario based training platform that greatly improves the effectiveness of the training exercise.

Juris Inc. was acquired by LexisNexis in July 2007 and subsequently merged into an office in Cary NC. My primary role was to transition product knowledge and strategic plan for the entire product line to appropriate LexisNexis team members.

Ensure that product line is contemporary, best of breed and in line with technology trends. Responsible to deliver rapid software solutions that allow the company to play offence instead of defense.

Maintained and upgraded flagship commercial software solution. Implemented Agile (SRUM) development practices. Managed multiple development teams. Responsible for Development, QA, Documentation, and initial product rollout.

Helped build an innovative patient outcomes analysis product designed to help hospitals improve overall results.

Built large healthcare data sets from (multi)state and hospital level patient data. This data was used to facilitate decisions where and when hospitals should build facilities, hire staff, expand existing facilities, and a host of other operational decisions.
