• Provide IT management and Tier 3 support for all systems, users and clients in a Cloud• Support and Administer: Office 365, Sharepoint, Active Directory, Azure AD, MS Server 2016, MS SQL, Hyper-V, Group Policy, SSL Certs, MS IIS, AutoTask and Remote Desktop services• Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems and software and virtual infrastructure• Lead ad-hoc teams to implement and deploy IT solutions • Engineer solutions for various project and operational needs• Designed and implemented SQL backup on multiple servers• Implement 2 factor Authentication for Office 365, AD and Cloud Services • Design, and build Remote Desktop and VDI Farm• Performance tune SQL 2016 server using current best practices • Design and implement AlwaysOn SQL cluster with a plan to migrate 22 SQL databases• Design and deploy backup system for multiple hosted sites including DR/BC• Research, write and test program scripts for system and users use • Research migrating our environment to Azure Cloud • Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure• Assist all teams (Front Line\NOC\Development\SLT) with technical issues that occur within all systems including Cloud hosts, Hyper-V, O365, Remote & Virtual Desktop• Research and recommend approaches for system administration tasks while identifying approaches that leverage GMS resources and provide economies of scale• Research, recommend and implement solutions as Azure AD, Azure hosting, SQL AlwaysON Availability Groups, Veeam Backup, Red Gate SQL toolbelt and other improvement for the IT environment• Perform daily backups, verifying the availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups• Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
