  Out Together is an inter-generational community driven campaign to bring joy, laughter, and togetherness into the lives of many older LGBTQ+ people across West Yorkshire, to combat the loneliness and isolation that may otherwise exclude them. A strong community unites to protect its members, and we want to strengthen ours. We’re building new connections, across generational divides, making new friends and sharing stories. We focus on what unites the LGBTQ+ community - a need for acceptance, for friendship, and for fun.Our hope is to create a truly inclusive environment, improving diversity and overcoming physical and other barriers to LGBT+50 people participating. Be it due to living outside of urban areas, being widowed, without children or family networks, or simply lost in another community that doesn’t understand them. We are making it our mission to reconnect them. We’re offering companionship and ways to re-integrate, from our regular social events where older LGBTQ+ can meet and share an afternoon among friends, to our upcoming befriending service. But as a ‘young’ ambitious charity we need more resources – people and finance – so we will always be looking for help.
