Founded in 2003 Golde Planning & Design provided engineering design and permitting services to private and municipal clients throughout New Hampshire and assists them with bidding & construction management.• By collaborating with a great group of other practitioners the companies workload is made up of commercial site design, residential subdivisions, stormwater management and erosion control plans, roadway design, lighting design and traffic signalization plans.• Of particular note was the planning, design and permitting for a shopping center with a supermarket, bank and restaurant. Wetland impacts of over two acres required the acquisition of other parcels as mitigation. Site access to a limited access state highway required significant negotiations and off-site improvements.• Worked closely with the owners of a private steam utility to secure zoning variances, planning board approvals state permitting and construction administration for bio-mass cogeneration facilities that use 100 percent wood chips as a full source and produce both power onto the grid as well as steam heat for public & private clients.• Completed preliminary design plans for a new five mile privately funded river crossing and toll road in Nashua and Hudson, NH for the regional planning commission in association with a private investors group.

Spearheaded the executive team to restructure debt, upgrade computer systems, upgrade office facilities and improve benefits packages. Provided leadership for the firms Vice Presidents to, improve client relationships, increase work volume, open branch offices and improve individual project performance. Created and filled a marketing manager position to improve company image and increase sales volume. Created and filled a human resource manager position to find qualified design professionals for design teams throughout the company.• Worked with the Directors of Manchester Airport and the Federal Aviation Administration to find a solution for local highway access. By completing detailed traffic analyses, working with the community and making the case for a sound solution; over two dozen homes were relocated and a local collector road was widened and realigned to provide the appropriate road capacity.• As a related assignment to two separate design contracts for the widening of Granite Street and reconfiguration of the I-293 Exit 5 Interchange, worked closely with city officials and the NH Congressional Delegation to secure federal funding for a transportation improvement project which had significant regional importance.
