Projects on behalf of FTI's clients included interim management roles and working directly with hospital senior executives and cross functional interim management teams to:- Evaluate and recommend strategic options by developing horizontal income statements for product line, financial class and patient service area categories for teaching hospitals, trauma centers and cancer programs.- Perform bond covenant violation studies, including comprehensive multi-year financial projections.- Project cash flow impact of the divestiture of a hospital from a multi-hospital system.- Serve as interim Controller and other interim finance, accounting and operations roles- Designed and maintained a liquidation analysis and wind-down plan for a large urban teaching hospital.- Work directly with hospital CFOs to project cash flows by building historically based financial models for hospitals from 20 to 600+ beds, including 13 week cash projection models for systems in receivership.- Extracted general ledger and patient data to develop and maintain cost-accounting databases for decision support and to measure performance against internal and industry benchmarks.- Financial feasibility study and debt capacity assessment for an academic medical center.- Research and co-author expert witness reports for multiple bankruptcy cases; provided deposition preparation and support for expert witness opinions.

Cambio was acquired by FTI ConsultingProjects included interim finance and accounting management services, litigation support, and cash flow/DSCR forecasting for distressed hospitals.Cambio Health Solutions was a leading provider of change management solutions for hospital and health systems. It provided strategic, operational and turnaround management consulting services to improve the operational efficiency and financial performance of its clients which included academic medical centers, integrated delivery systems, stand-alone community hospitals, investor-owned hospitals and special medical facilities.

Responsibilities included cash flow management, financial reporting, real-estate investing and management, financial analysis, modeling and sell-side due diligence for the divestiture of the company's best-known product line (the "Funnoodle") and, eventually, the successful sale of the company.
