Senior Atlassian Systems Administrator
Current● Install, configure, and enhance Atlassian tool stack ensuring tools are stable by using sandbox testing of new JIRA/Confluence instances, plugins and routine JIRA/Confluence application upgrades; and new product evaluations.● Configure respective projects in JIRA by building and managing custom and complex workflows with workflow extensions, custom fields, Issue Types, Triggers, Post Functions, Validators, Schemes, Screens, Dashboards, Filters, Report Configurations, and Project Roles, Permissions, Security, and Notification schemes.● Execute Atlassian Tool stack upgrades and database backups, using both Linux and Windows servers to coordinate infrastructure maintenance, Migrations to JIRA, and Atlassian system migrations, and communicate changes to all users.● Configure and maintain Confluence Spaces, Pages, Workflows, Macros, Permissions, and Notifications for large user base.● Build system integrity and improve systems/processes already in place by performing requirements gathering, business process workflows, process improvements, and identify with stakeholders where functionality can be improved for JIRA/Confluence/BitBucket/Bamboo/Fisheye tool sets.● Provide User Management and support for large base of local and remote users, manage system access across groups to ensure compliance for tools, and maintain Atlassian best practices.● Trustworthy and reliable in doing work autonomously from remote location for offices in multiple US/UK time zones and providing excellent time management skills, self-management skills, and written and verbal communication skills.● Researched, evaluated, installed, configured, and audited JIRA/Confluence/BitBucket/Bamboo plugins to meet ever changing business requirements. ● Performed JIRA system performance tuning and proper scaling to match usage growth and troubleshoot and monitor system log files for system performance degradation and errors.● Configured Automations to improve workflow processes and repetitive tasks.
