Bones Accounting helps small business owners achieve the lifestyle they desire. We offer accounting, taxation and bookkeeping services to manage compliance, build profits and manage debt. • Management role for large client base. Including SMSF, Companies, Trusts, Sole Traders and Individuals.• Supervision and review of team of three staff.• Formation and operation of Self Managed Superannuation Fund division within the business• High level strategy and panning meetings with variety of clients including Capital Gains Tax, Valuation, Wind Up and Structuring advice.• ATO liaison including General Interest Charge remissions, BAS, IAS and PAYG Instalment variations and negotiating ATO payment plans. • Provide specialist advice to companies on Franking Accounts and dividend payment strategies and Director Loan (Div 7A) strategies.• Training of Junior staff in bookkeeping, BAS preparation and basic tax return preparation.• Working closely with colleagues and management to tackle challenging problems with company processes and business improvement strategies.

Specifically, the provision of advice on hardware and software requirements and protocols for a paperless office.• Implemented a specialized spreadsheet system for clients, improving the firm’s efficiency.• Planned staff training sessions and assisted junior accountants with technical development.• Developed expertise in the provision of superannuation services. The preparation of superannuation tax returns, financial accounts and the provision of advice on superannuation related maters. • Working closely with clients on grant acquittals and grant submissions. Dealing directly with Pacific Film and Television Commission and Australian Government funding applications. • Assisted with the audit process. Including physical inventory inspections and the preparation of management reports.

• Working as a tax and litigation accountant.• Preparing accounts and tax returns for a large range of clients including individuals, small business, trusts (fixed and discretionary) and companies.• Preparation of BAS, consolidated accounts, PAYGI, Payroll Tax, FBT returns and experience in dealing with the ATO on a range of issues.• Providing technical advice on a broad range of taxation issues including structuring, asset protection, capital gains and tax minimization.• For large clients, liaising with the audit team and clients, working to a set time frame and managing large projects.• Tax planning for a range of situations. Expertise in dealing with related party loans, non-resident taxpayers, succession planning and business structures to minimize tax.• Rapid development resulted in a management role for individual clients and small business. This involved regular interaction with the client and the ability to manage all tax related affairs.• Preparing valuations and supporting evidence for litigious matters. Including using CAPM, Black Scholes and Future maintainable earnings valuation methods.
