Building my toolbox again with new challenges at Save Mart. As the only in-house application programmer supporting the AS/400 platform for the last year, I've been busy supporting A/R, A/P, G/L, H/R, P/R and custom code. Sounds like a lot, but for the most part Production runs; with just "some" intervention. I've revamped the development environment, archived hundreds of libraries, started journaling, and have coded some excellent solutions for trading data files with our partners.

Improved catalog order entry processes and functionality. Modified the nightly restocking modules to run 10 parallel jobs to reduce dedicated runtime from 1.5hrs to 20min. Improved application integrity in the wholesale division's A/R system. Consulted with their consultants in their Y2K conversion improving overall runtime from 7 days down to a fraction of that.
