Formula1manager.net was an online manager game based on the FIA Formula 1 season on TV. More than 12.000 teams joined the battle and try to become the best F1 manager of the season. In combination with social media, Formula1manager.net was the biggest manager community in The Netherlands.At it's peak moment more than 12.000 teams played the game. We ranked first in the Google SERPs for nearly all of the important keywords (~ 20) and managed to get the support from multiple sponsors varying from magazines and console games to tickets for the F1 Grand Prix in Belgium. The site was a sandbox for technical research on both back- and frontend trends, SEO and both UX and Interaction design.
