Currently, I am Project Director of Development at GridLiance, a NextEra Energy Transmission Company.Prior to my current role, I was on a nine-month rotation within the Regulatory Public Affairs department for NextEra Energy Resources, the world’s leader in renewable energy. I managed campaign strategies, relationships with National Association of Counties & American Farm Bureau, and community stakeholders in various regions of the US.In previous positions, I managed elected officials, city managers, and business stakeholders in External Affairs since January 2015 for North Broward County. I have served in multiple leadership roles within Customer Service and Power Delivery for 20 years, including Small/Medium Business Accounts Regional Manager for Dade and Broward Counties, Engineering Lead, Resource Lead, Production Lead, and Customer Project Manager.Tim is actively engaged in his community and has held leadership positions during his current tenure on the following boards: Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce -Past Chairman; the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce - Past Chairman; Leadership Florida – Connect Class 12 Chair & Governance Chair; Junior Achievement - Government Affairs Chair; the Urban League of Broward County – Chair-Elect; Broward 2-1-1 – Secretary; Broward Days, AvMed Advisory Board, FAMU-FSU College of Engineering Advisory Board, and Parks Foundation of Broward County. He is a member of Leadership Florida Connect Class VI, Leadership Broward Class XXXIII, Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity Inc., and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. He is a staunch supporter of LLS South Florida and holds the distinction of being named 2018 Ft. Lauderdale Leukemia Lymphoma Society Man of the Year.Tim holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from Florida State University. Tim is married to Cortnee and has two children.
