I'm an independently-minded and effective, geopolitical, crisis management and security adviser, building resilience with clients from numerous sectors around the world. I am comfortable working from board and ministerial level to the field. I listen to clients in order to conceive and deliver innovative, scenario-based and achievable strategies, policies, support and training - on time and to budget.I combine a robust theoretical background with deep experience of the management of organizational resilience, crises and sensitive negotiations in stable and volatile environments with the UN, Red Cross, and British Government overseas. This is complemented by extensive corporate crisis and risk management consultancy experience in the financial services, public, extractive, manufacturing, aviation, aid and development sectors.My leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills were developed in teams working across political and cultural boundaries. I am an established trainer of trainers and have conducted numerous political, economic and security analyses overseas. I have published widely on the subject of community engagement, license to operate and the links with organizational resilience and sustainable security. I am bound, but not constrained by, current good practice and ISOs and specialize in the crisis and continuity space, crisis communications, human factors in crisis and the management of crisis in the cyber-extortion arena.I publish regularly on a breadth of subjects and speak publicly and internally on the subjects of geopolitics, terrorism, political economy and the drivers of violence. I am increasingly called upon to speak on supply chain resilience and the management aspects of cyber crisis response.
