As Head of Product Hardware, I'm responsible for the integration and management of hardware components with Locusview's Digital Construction Management platform. This incudes mobile devices and their operating systems, high accuracy GNSS receivers & RTK base station networks, barcode scanners, electrofusion machines, and other hardware peripherals. Resident expert in geodesy.

In this role, I'm responsible for ensuring Locusview's Digital Construction Management platform is successfully implemented and delivering the value expected by our customers. Oversee the Operations side of the business globally, including:Software Implementation ServicesSupport ServicesCustomer Success& Information SecurityManage LocusView's SOC 2 Type II information security / quality program and ensure all business units are in compliance.

Responsible for the design, security, configuration and maintenance of a robust AWS cloud infrastructure. Manage information security policies, best-practices and the Service Organization Controls Type II audit program. Play a high-level role in all product development and design. Provide input and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure the end-product meets customer requirements and expectations. Act as the technical lead on all GPS/GNSS high-accuracy development and implementations. Designed, tested, implemented and maintain a centimeter-grade RTK base station network across the United States.

Translate customer requirements into technical design.Provide input and guidance on product strategy and roadmap.Administer and maintain LocusView's Amazon Web Services cloud infrastructure.Manage information security policies, best-practices, and technical implementation.Act as SQL Server and MySQL Database Administrator.Manage Esri accounts, licensing and installations. Manage internal IT infrastructure.

Manage GIS Systems for local government utilizing the Esri software platform.Install and maintain ArcGIS for Server for local government users.Install and administer Enterprise GIS systems on the SQL Server platform utilizing ArcSDE and ArcGIS for Server.Troubleshoot GIS software issues and answer questions related to problematic data and spatial analysis.Build complex automated workflows to accomplish common tasks in municipal governments using python.Perform on-site installation and training of GIS software systems.Build utility networks and perform QA/QC on spatial datasets, including the creation and maintenance of geodatabase topologies and geometric networks.Build and maintain asset management systems using Cityworks in conjunction with ArcGIS. Create utility atlases, exhibits, and other maps as needed.Create custom applications for ArcPad and ArcGIS for Windows Mobile.Differentially correct and export data created in TerraSync using Trimble Pathfinder Office. Utilize Trimble Positions for high-accuracy data collection in ArcPad and ArcGIS for Windows Mobile.

Act as the liaison between Support Services and software development teams to resolve high priority issues. Advocate on the behalf of our customers to identify and resolve high priority software defects.Responsible for the following software technologies:Network Analyst, Schematics, Data Interoperability, Tracking Analyst, Business Analyst, Publisher, ArcReader, ArcLogistics, Parcel Editor, Geocoding, CAD, StreetMap.Maintain an online presence in the ArcGIS user forums and ideas.arcgis.com.

Provided support to end users of ESRI software.Supported ArcGIS Desktop, ArcPad, ArcPad Server Extension, and ArcGIS for Windows Mobile. Successfully resolved more than 2,000 support requests directly related to ArcGIS Desktop, ArcPad, and ArcGIS Mobile software. Provided support for the installation and utilization of ArcPad on mobile GPS devices including Trimble GPScorrect and GPS Analyst for post-processing / differential correction.Gained expert knowledge of mobile GPS systems including post-processing, real-time differential correction (RTK, VRS), and data collection workflows utilized across multiple GIS fields.Documented technical issues through incident tracking, Knowledge Base articles, and submission of software bug/enhancement requests.Contributed on a regular basis to ESRI public user forums.Tested software and hardware to troubleshoot issues and evaluate solutions.Determined and recommended software changes to programmers/software engineers.Trained and mentored new support analysts.Delivered both technical and customer service interviews to potential candidates over the phone and in person.
