I am an experienced technology industry veteran with a career long passion for high tech software solutions. I have over 35 years of technology experience including serving on a server product team as a development lead on an architecture team at Microsoft. My software passion is focused on AI, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, AR/MR, Data Visualization, & Edge computing. I have been deemed a “Pioneer of the Smart Client Revolution” by the press and called a “software industry luminary”. I have recently sold my interest in both the companies I founded, InterKnowlogy & VSBLTY. I have completed a sabatical while consulting. I am currently on a quest to find my next full time emplyoyment challenge.I have served as a Microsoft Global RD for 25 years and am one of the founders. The RD program recognizes the world's top 3rd party technology visionaries for their proven cross-platform technical expertise, community leadership, and commitment to business results. I have been awarded the Microsoft MVP (20+ years) in Artificial Intelligence. The MVP is awarded to exceptional, independent community leaders who share their passion, technical expertise, and real-world knowledge of Microsoft Products with others.Having worked for or with Microsoft for over 25 years, I have been lucky enough in my carreer to travel the world in a 25 year speaking career. I currently mostly do keynotes focused on AI. I have been on stage with and done numerous keynote demos for many Microsoft executives including Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer. I have been awarded many times for the highest rated technical & industry presentations and keynotes at technology conferences like CES and events all around the world. I am consistently rated in the top 10% of all speakers at these events and am frequently the top-rated speaker. Throughout my carreer I have frequently worked directly with the Technology Press and financial analyst community on technical messaging and industry comprehension. I have been named on a number of software patents. I have a passion for writing having been published thousands of times including authoring 3 books, hundreds of magazine articles and hundreds of internet publications. Outside of the technology industry my spare time is spent consuming a passion for the outdoors. I love to moutain bike, trail run, & hike. I’m a veteran fly fisherman & backpacker with a passion for conservation & teaching others the ways of the wilderness. I am a licensed fly fishing guide and the president of the San Diego Fly Fishers club.
