The role incorporated the continuous improvement of all Finance & Procurement Systems with both Local development work and linked work with the National NHS Stock Systems. The role fully supported assistance in the harmonisation of National Systems within local working arrangements and local Procurement Systems to realise efficiencies and otherbenefits.The role also ensured that efficient and effective performance of systems is maintained, and was central to the delivery of any systems projects, developing and implementing improvements and enhancements to improve operational efficiencies, increase service support to users, and enhance control. Additional work included a wider support remit across the Directorate, supporting staff in ensuring that they had the appropriate IT tools and the required IT skills to carry out their own job roles, and developing and delivering training packages for relevant staff across the Trust. Support and Involvement in all work ethics in relation to Total Quality Management, Continuous Improvement processes (incorporating Kaizen and 6 Thinking Hats Principles).
