Within this role, my job as an ASO is to detect any unauthorised weapons, explosive and incendiary materials and prevent these from going on board an aircraft or into security restricted area. Also, providing excellent customer service to our passengers and ensuring their experience passing through security is special and memorable.

During this role, I held broad scope management responsibility spanning from store security, marketing, inventory, merchandising, business development and market growth. I also took on recruitment working alongside Internal and External Operational managers and Head Office. During my time as Store Manager was critical; I had responsibility in transforming a new store to produce high market growth situated in Stansted airport. Constantly increasing weekly sales intake by a minimum of 0.5% margin for the first four weeks by the action plan prepared by myself which resulted in the highest net profit for the store, after four months of opening.Reporting and analysing Inventory levels, Stock take and customer volume week in week out with Head of Operation Retail Business unit at Stansted whilst articulating and explaining big-picture strategic goals to staff were all daily tasks within my role.
