Test Engineer/Trainer (9/2000 – 6/2002) • Novellus “Concept One” Technical Training Instructor. • Taught technical training classes to 100’s of engineers, operators, and technicians on the topics of operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. • Revised, and updated the training materials in order to make them more effective. • Instructed personnel of various backgrounds and nationalities.• Novellus “Concept One” PECVD System Specialist. • Executed factory final systems tests on the newly assembled dielectric film deposition machines. • Performed tests: diagnostic checks on multi-bus computers & CPUs, high purity gas flow controls, robotics, vacuum systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, RF power systems, personal computers, DOS, and RS 232 communications.Field Service Engineer, onsite at Philips Semiconductors, in Albuquerque, New Mexico (and traveled) (8/1995- 8/1998)• Developed modified PECVD equipment and procedures such that maintenance times decreased by 25-70%. • Supervised and trained co-workers, and customer technicians. • Reduced local spares inventory by $50,000 while improving availability of commonly needed parts.• Increased productivity by streamlining the preventive maintenance procedures. • Received company award for highest increase in customer satisfaction.

Field Service Engineer, on site at Intel, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico • Performed installation, preventive maintenance, and trouble-shooting of plasma etchers (this equipment involved sub-systems similar to the Novellus equipment above). • Developed and implemented several maintenance procedures which increased Field Engineer efficiency. • Led a team in monitoring durability issues with turbo-molecular pump systems, and assisted the supplier in resolving these issues. • Performed onsite training of co-workers and Intel technicians.
