I was born and raised in the Chicago area, but from an early age I was blessed with what my parents called "itchy feet:" a love of travel and new cultures was born at an early age and has continued ever since. Currently I am working as a Junior High Social Studies teacher and, in my opinion, there is no greater joy than working with students helping them to see how all of us are connected in this great, big world.I believe that travel is the best education one can get and I hope to continue traveling with my children and showing them this amazing world that we live in.
